2023 Thank You & 2024 Update!

2023

Cancer Gets Lost is so grateful for everyone that participated in our 2023 online charity auction, because your collective generosity resulted in $32,000 raised - all of which has been donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance! This essential non-profit organization leads the fight against ovarian cancer, and your incredible donations support ovarian cancer survivors + their families and ovarian cancer research. Thank you all SO very much! Our hearts are overflowing with appreciation for every person that registered, placed a bid, donated an item, retweeted an auction promo, etc. You’re actually making an impactful difference in the lives of cancer survivors!

2024

Next year is the the 20 year anniversary of LOST’s debut, the television show that inspired the creation of CGL. We have been collecting rare and signed LOST items since the series ended in 2010, in anticipation of this momentous occasion! The CGL 2024 online charity auction will also feature a few items related to LOST, from shows that the cast and crew worked on after this one.

While CGL has expanded our charity auction offerings far beyond LOST since our first auction in 2012, we are very excited to focus back on our original and tremendously kind global fandom. You all (everybody) genuinely deserve to be reminded of a positive fan experience and online community that has existed for the last 20 years, and always will!

We have not set a date yet for our 2024 online charity auction, but are likely going to host it in September 2024, which is exactly twenty years after the Pilot episode aired. We will be donating ALL auction proceeds to a designated cancer charity, and will announce which one by the end of this year!

Please make sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter (where you can find us @ CancerGetsLost), and stay tuned for 2024 CGL LOST online charity auction item previews and updates on both platforms!

Thank you for your support and interest, as always! Cancer Gets Lost exists and continues to successfully raise many thousands for various cancer charities because of both.
